Exploring Africa - Lecture on Czech Explorers

Africa was long the least explored continent. This began to change in the 19th century when Czechs, led by the famous Emil Holub, joined the British, Americans, French, and Belgians. This lecture will focus not only on Holub but also on his colleagues who undertook the long and arduous journey south to unknown territories.
