Poznej Vltavu Festival

We cordially invite you to the unique multi-genre festival Poznej Vltavu, which will bring the surroundings of the Vltava River to life on Sunday, September 22, in celebration of International Rivers Day. This festival offers a wonderful opportunity to explore the Vltava from various perspectives and learn more about its irreplaceable role in the city’s ecosystem.

You can look forward to guided tours of usually inaccessible places, such as the century-old Smíchov lock, the underground supply tunnels of the National Theatre, and many other intriguing locations from the Podolí Waterworks to the Old Wastewater Treatment Plant in Bubeneč. In addition, there will be artistic interventions, workshops, and special programs for children along the embankments.

Join us in celebrating the Vltava River and its significance for our city. Admission to most events is free. We look forward to seeing you there!
