Paspův Hall Hosts a Senior Ball

The senior-focused nonprofit organization Elpida continues its campaign "Grandma Won’t Sit in the Corner", aimed at fighting loneliness among seniors, with an exciting event: The Senior Ball with Jan Onder.

Host and dancer Jan Onder, a two-time winner of the TV show Stardance, invites all seniors to dance on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Paspův Hall in Smíchov, Prague.

Seniors are welcome to come alone, as a couple, or in a group of friends. Dance moves will be adapted for everyone, ensuring that no one is left sitting on the sidelines. The hall doors will open at 5:30 PM, and the official opening ceremony will start half an hour later.

Live music will be provided by the A. S. Band, offering a repertoire of Czech and international hits from the 1970s to today. Besides unforgettable experiences and worn-out dancing shoes, guests will have the chance to win prizes in a raffle.

The program will conclude at 10 PM. Tickets start at 300 CZK and can be purchased online or at the Elpida Center's study departments in Prague 5 and Prague 7.

The proceeds from ticket sales will be matched by the Wild Geese Foundation and used to support foreign language courses at the Elpida Center.
